A Recent Photo Shoot

As most of you know, I really enjoy photography. I'm not especially good at it, but I play with it and I am constantly learning new tricks of the trade and experimenting on Abby and my poor husband who hear me say . . . "okay. . . ready? smile!" more times in the course of a month than what they would like. Well, apparently, I have really been a crazy woman in the area of photography this last month (between Thanksgiving and Christmas) because my daughter is now DAILY lining up all of her stuffed animals (on the couch, she'll go get my stool, in the window sill, etc) and this is the mantra I hear from her. . . "Okay. . . just hold on a minute now." (she runs for the pretend Disney kids camera) "okay. . . say Cheese! Smile! GREAT job! One more time! Smile! Good. . . good. hold on a minute. . . (she re-arranges one or two of them that apparently weren't looking up to parr) "okay. . . last time. . . Cheese!!!" and then she snaps the picture for the last time before she tells them all to look at the camera and say "thank you gramma and grampa." TOO fun! We've really enjoyed her developing in this area of pretend play. It's been really fun to watch and has brought much joy and laughter to our household!
