Abby's new milestones!

Milestones! Milestones! Milestones! We've been coaxing Abby and coaxing her, hoping that she'd finally roll over. Well, the big day arrived on May 1st! She rolled over from her tummy to her back and the next day she rolled over from her back to her tummy (practically). We're counting it, but it's a little shady if it was a true "roll over" or not. What finally made her do it? Not her mom and dad smiling incessantly at her and telling her what a good job she is doing but this really ugly stuffed monkey toy that dangles from her play gym. It is REALLY ugly. . . but she absolutely LOVES it!
The other big milestones that she has accomplished recently is a sheer love of her feet! Like any true American girl, she is in love with her feet and anything that could possible go on them. She is now able to suck on her big toes. She has started doing this ALL of the time. She would prefer to suck on her toes instead of her fingers these days. I keep socks on her feet so that she doesn't do it 24-7. but she also loves her socks - pulls them off, puts them into her mouth, etc. etc. Actually, in the last week, she has also started sleeping in a little bit later in the mornings too. This is a blessing to us because we also get to sleep in. But, her toes are such a fascination to her that sometimes we wake up and go in to see how she is doing and she is laying there perfectly wide awake with her big toe in her mouth. One day, with both of her big toes in her mouth. Picture that! :)
